Visitor contextPro

Visitor context shows the pages someone viewed on your site before and during a chat, as a live journey right beside the conversation. You open a chat already knowing what they were looking at, so your first reply lands in context.

Behaviour

What does it do?

  • Builds a timeline of the pages a visitor viewed, newest at the top, next to the conversation.
  • Shows the landing page and the campaign source that first brought them to your site.
  • Updates live as they browse, so a new page appears the moment they open it.
Step-by-step

How it works

  1. Open a conversation
In Dashboard, go to Conversation and select any chat from the widget. Visitor context sits in the right-hand sidebar.
  2. Read the journey
Each row is one page: its title, the path, when it opened, and how long they stayed. The violet marker at the top is the page they are on right now.
  3. Follow a page
When the site is known, every row links out to the live page in a new tab, so you can see exactly what the visitor sees.
  4. Reply with context
Once you know they lingered on pricing or left at checkout, you can answer the real question instead of asking where they got stuck.
Privacy

Private by design

The trail is buffered only in the visitor's own browser and is saved once they start a conversation. Nothing is kept for people who never chat, and you can switch the whole feature off per assistant.
